These pieces are adapted from some of my favourite patterns from my book, The Knit Stitch.

I like to have one of these pieces knit and available so I always have a baby gift at the ready. And while I knit the bunting bag in solid colours—as the original—I have since discovered how much I like to knit the little jacket in a self-patterning yarn, as shown here.

I have made adjustments to the originals, with slightly more overlap in the front and a little shaping on the legs of the bunting bag.
