This pattern is for a simple garter stitch blanket. Instructions for needle felted animals not included in the pattern! Purchase kits for needle felted animals here.

A baby-sized version of our Trade Blanket. Use the suggested colours, or pick five of your favourites.

PATTERN NOTES
A basic garter stitch blanket worked flat and in one piece in 5 colours.

GAUGE
19 stitches and 40 rows to 10 cm/ 4 inches in garter stitch (knit every row) – gauge is not critical for a blanket, but can effect quantity of yarn used.

Approx. 68 cm by 89 cm/ 27 inches by 35 inches, blocked

CASCADE 220 SUPERWASH MERINO 100% Superwash Merino Wool 200 m / 220 yd, 100 g / 3.5 oz ball MC: 3 balls CC: 1 ball each of 4 colours
Colours Shown 01 – Cream, MC 33 – Navy, CC1 05 – Golden Yellow, CC2 29 – Red, CC3 15 – Tree Top, CC4

Needles
4.5 mm (US 7) – 80 cm/ 32 inch circular, or size to get gauge
