Babies and toddlers want hoods too!
Baby Hoodola is a mashup of Cowltopus and Hoodola, it has a tidy fit designed to grow with your babe!

Baby Hoodola is cast on at the top of the hood and worked flat to the neckline with an optional decorative stitch to help the hood fit around the face. Then you join into the round and knit a yoke with short rows to cover the shoulders. The yoke tucks inside a coat or snowsuit perfectly, keeping that ‘lil boo warm! Knit is a size bigger than your cutie and fold the edge of the hood back, as your babe’s noggin grows, they can wear it for more than one season!

You can knit your Baby Hoodola in DK, Worsted, or Aran weight yarn. The heavier the yarn you choose the denser and warmer your fabric will be.

Also, included is a version of the hood without the sucker stitch for those who want a looser hood shaping! The pattern includes links to video tutorials to help you with the tricksy bits!

Use the Hoodola Cast On video to help you get going with your Baby Hoodola!
