This is a lovely little Norwegian inspired hat, designed to keep head and little ears cosy in the winter cold.

Materials
• 40g of white DK/Light worsted weight yarn
• Small amount of pink DK/Light worsted weight yarn
• 3¾ mm (US size 5, UK size 9) and knitting needles
• 3.5 mm crochet hook (optional)
• Blunt yarn needle to draw together and sew in ends

Finished Size
This pattern is for ages: 0 – 6 months

Tension: 11 sts and 14 rows = 5cm (2”) over st.st

Additional Notes

The pink border can be done using crochet or knitting and instructions have been given for both. Crochet will give a more even edge.
The crochet hook is optional, as instructions for the pink edging are also given in knitting if crochet isn’t your thing
