This is just a dandy versatile little shawl pattern that works with all kinds of hand dyes. You start at the long edge of the triangle (over the shoulders) and work in garter stitch down to the point. Potter has shown this shawl with a novelty fringe-- an interrupted railroad ribbon, if anyone remembers them; but it would be just as lovely in one of today’s fashion yarns, or a natural fibre, or whatever delights you. The ties are I-cord, just to ramp up the texture-combination quotient.
