Inspired by an 80s pattern from Creative Knitting, this baby sailor dress is a perfect project for beginners it’s a lot easier than it looks!

The techniques used are: Intarsia/chart work, stocking stitch, decrease (p2tog), rib stitch, shaping and joining.

What you’ll need:

• DK acrylic & nylon yarn in navy, red and white
• Size 3.25mm, 4mm & 4.5mm straight needles
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• 2 cute buttons
