As you finish more and more projects, you’ll accumulate lots of leftover yarn. Little balls of different colors aren’t always enough to make an entire project, but they’re perfect for this adorable baby blanket. Gather up all your DK and light-worsted weight bits and bobs, and maybe invest in another whole skein or two to pull them all together, and voila! You could even make a bigger one to use as a bedspread or a cozy couch blanket.

Notions:
stitch markers (8)
OPTIONAL - because the bind off for this blanket needs to be VERY loose, you might consider using a needle several sizes bigger than your main gauge needle to bind off. (You’ll only need one.)

Skills Used:
kfb increases
yarn over increases
k2tog and ssk decreases
picking up stitches along a garter stitch edge (photo tutorial included!)
k2tog tbl (through back loop)

Shown in various colorways, including “Midnight in the Garden” (border), “Kaaterskill,” “Gilded Orchid,” “Auburn,” “Abigail,” “Straw Into Gold,” Mulled Wine,“ and “Daffodil.”
