As part of CALCentrals 2nd Annual Softie CAL I have designed this huggable little amigurumi seal toy.

My son is crazy about seals and last year I crocheted him the larger seal (in the image of him hugging it) - that seal is one year old now and is very well loved. He is even the pick for going on sleep overs!

I never released the pattern last year and I decided it would be a great project for you to try for the CAL. It uses hdc stitches and hdc2tog stitches. I have included a photo tutorial for you too.

If you want to make the larger seal instead, you can use medium weight yarn and a 3.5 mm (E) hook instead.
