I love the rib I used on this baby hat – it’s so delicate, just like a baby! The Baby Shelby Hat is knitted flat in 4 ply weight yarn, making it beautifully light and soft. And when knitted in natural fibres, it helps keep baby at just the right temperature.

If you’d like to complete the outfit, the Baby Shelby Jumper features the same rib detail – and together, they look absolutely adorable!

CONSTRUCTION
Knitted flat in one piece from the bottom up with one seam.

TECHNIQUES USED
Cast on, knit, purl, decreasing, joining one seam. Optional but recommended to create the feeling of joy when joining your pieces: mattress stitch.
