This beautiful baby sleeping bag is knitted in one piece from the top edge of the Front Part to the top edge of the hood. The Front Part features a very pretty and fun to knit stitch with “lace shells”. The Back part and the hood are knitted in garter stitch, so you can knit them while watching TV!

The pattern includes both written instructions and a chart for the stitch. It also includes a schematic with measurements.

Width: ~ 19.5” / 50 cm

Yarn used: #4 medium worsted/aran
Gauge: 4-4.25 sts per 1” in stockinette stitch

I used ~ 692 yards/ 633 meters ( 2 skeins) of Premier Yarns Basix Worsted yarn.

Difficulty level: easy
