Made with Patons 101 Courtelle 4-ply Baby or Patons Beehive Baby Wool 4-ply, 4 1-oz balls for the jacket alone.

Materials: pair each No. 10 (3.25 mm) and No. 12 (2.75 mm) needles, stitch-holder.

One size, to fit 20-inch chest. Length, 10ins, sleeve seam, 6 ins. Tension: 7 sts/9 rows in stocking-stitch on No. 10 needles, 9 3/4 sts and 11 1/4 rows per inch in lace pattern on No. 10 needles.

The jacket is made in pieces, worked flat from the bottom up and seamed. It has raglan arms and is tied at the front. The lace pattern has 12 rows and is worked on a repeat of 6 stitches, plus 3. Stitches used: yrn, yon, k, p, k2tog, sl-k2tog-psso, slip-stitch.
