The small stocking is ideal as a gift bag or decoration. The larger size will hold lots of goodies for Christmas morning!
This stocking is easily knitted and has no complicated heel to turn. If you have never knitted a sock you can still knit this stocking! Then transform into felt by simply washing it!

Full knitting instructions,
Lots of additional knitting tips
Detailed felting instructions
Baby’s First Christmas pattern sheet
Needle felting and embroidery tips
Guide to making a twisted cord

If you wish to use a substitute yarn: –
Feltro, Twilleys Freedom Wool, Schoeller and Stahl Filzi, use single strands, all work well.
If using a substitute yarn your project may felt to a different size, you may also have problems with the knitting felting shut. This can be avoided by putting plastic bags inside the project during felting.
