ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Back to School Tie is knitted back and forth in garter stitch. Start from the tip, continue with the body, and finish with the other tip. To complete, work a folded edge all around the tie.
This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners.

Lenght: 99 cm
Width: 10 cm

YARNS AND MATERIALS
Approx. 100 g of Tendressima from PLASSARD (50% wool, 50% acrylic, 50 g = ±200 m)
Colors n°20 and n°51
NOTE: I used this yarn as part of a collaboration, but I absolutely do not recommend it. Below are some alternative yarn suggestions that are more enjoyable to knit with and of better quality:
Arwetta from Filcolana
Jawoll from Lang Yarn

Circular needles or double pointed needles 3 mm US3 / UK11
Circular needles 3 mm US3 / UK11 to knit the border all around the tie.
Tapestry needle

GAUGE
28 sts x 46 rows = 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch on circular needles 3 mm US3 / UK11.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
Wash and block your swatch.
