The bag is fast and fun to make. It combines a canvas top and straps with a knit body. The bag is done in a Ruching pattern that uses Garter stitch on smaller needles and Stockinette stitch on larger ones with double the amount of stitches. The stitch makes bands of gathering creating a puffy look. The piece is a simple rectangle with little shaping and finishing required.

1/2 yd cotton fabric for lining
4 D rings for straps
