> Bakker Scarf
Bakker Scarf
Bakker means hills in Danish and the shawl was inspired by the view from my window over the soft rolling green hills.
The Bakker Scarf is worked from one end to the other creating a long and narrow scarf with pointy tips - but still wide enough to use as a hood on windy days or over the shoulders to keep the body warm. It has an all over garter texture with braids mimicking the outline of the hills.
The pattern has both written instructions and chart as well as a video to show how to make the braids.
