Balmoral
This semi-circular shawl is worked from the top down and features a selection of simple lace patterns separated by plain garter stitch rows with a simple beaded edging.
Materials:
100g/400m 4ply/fingering weight sock yarn (col A)
50g/200m 4ply/fingering weight sock yarn (col B)
(Or 100g/600m 4ply/fingering weight sock yarn if using single colour)
4.5mm /US7 circular needles (80cm or 100cm long)
30g size 6/0 (4mm) seed beads (optional)
0.75mm crochet hook (if using beads)
Size:
Width: 164cm/64.5in
Length: 71cm/28in
Tension:
20 sts and 24 rows to measure
10x10cm/4x4in in garter stitch after blocking.
Exact tension is not essential but a difference in tension may affect the amount of yarn used.
Difficulty level:
Easy/Intermediate
