The Baltic Sea Sweater pattern is published as Pattern of the Month in December at Nordic Knitting Society.

Baltic Sea Sweater features an all over textured pattern, reminding of the ripples the wind makes at sea. It is a roomy sweater with lots of space, so that you will feel comfortable and warm all day. The design is a straight drop shoulder construction, worked from the bottom up. The neckband is folded and sits close to the neck for extra warmth. I have used a Gotland and Falkland merino mix, which is excellent for long walks by the sea.

I encourage you to start from the measurements given in the pattern and feel free to adapt the sweater to your own body measurements. In the pattern you´ll find a guidance section on how to choose your size and to make the adaptions needed for a well fitting sweater. Best of luck!
