I’ve designed these cosy fingerless mittens in 3 sizes, with fully shaped thumb for comfort. They’re great for wearing whilst you work and perfect for using up oddments of yarn.

Construction:
The main hand is crocheted in rows to create the thumb shaping then joined before working in the round for the wrist and the hand edging.

About the yarn:
Baa Baa Brew is a hand dyed British yarn, launched in 2016 by Baa Baa Brighouse. Each colour is named after an area of Brighouse, which is the town in which the yarn is dyed. Baa Baa Brew is 100% British Blue-faced Leicester Double Knitting yarn and is a collection of semi-solid colours. For more information, see www.baabaabrighouse.co.uk.

Notes:
This pattern uses approximately half of each 100g skein (50g;112m;122yds) which leaves enough yarn to make Galicia Cowl

Size:
To fit 3 sizes, Small/Medium/Large

Hook:
4mm (USG/6)

Time to make:
Each mitten took me about 3.5 hours to make (7 hours in total) not including washing and blocking time

Gauge:
20 dc and 24 rows over 10cm (4in)

This pattern is currently only available as part of Take Two (Collection One - Crochet).
