This long loop cowl is cozy and colorful and so much fun to wear. With three colors of worsted weight yarn, work this cowl flat, starting with the stripe section before moving into the solid color garter section.
With a Provisional Cast On and Kitchener stitch the scarf becomes a cowl that can be worn as a long loop or doubled around the neck for a cozier fit.

Note: Pattern calls for a Provisional CO. Alternatively, you can use a traditional CO and BO and use a mattress stitch to seam your cowl closed.

The finished cowl measures approximately 28” (71 cm) long and 5.5” (14 cm) wide.
