Le Bandana Vigne Grimpante était le premier projet de mon défi pour 2020 : “ Un point, plusieurs tricots” avec lequel je voulais décliner le point Vigne Grimpante sur différents projets. Finalement il sera le deuxième ;)

Je te propose donc de découvrir le point Vigne Grimpante qui allie torsade, mailles torses et mailles envers.

Vigne Grimpante est un bandana qui se tricote d’abord à plat comme un châle triangulaire du cou vers la pointe. Chaque côté se tricote en jersey endroit tandis que la vigne se propage le long de la colonne centrale du bandana.
Avec son col fermé, c’est terminé les difficultés pour le garder bien en place!

INSTRUCTIONS
Vigne Grimpante est un bandana qui se tricote d’abord à plat comme un châle triangulaire du cou vers la pointe. Chaque côté se tricote en jersey endroit tandis que la vigne se propage le long de la colonne centrale du bandana.
Lorsque la pointe est assez longue, le tricot se poursuit en rond et en jersey envers pour créer un col que tu pourras aplatir au moment du blocage ou laisser rouler pour avoir une épaisseur supplémentaire.

The Bandana Vigne Grimpante (Climbing Vine) was supposed to be the first project of the 2020 challenge: “One stitch, several knits” with which I will use the Vigne Grimpante stitch for different projects. The bandana is now the second project ;)

I therefore suggest that you discover the Climbing Vine stitch which combines cables, purl stitches and twisted stitches within the cable

Climbing Vine is a bandana knitted flat at first like a top-down triangular shawl. Each side is knitted in stockinette while the vine spreads along the central column of the bandana.
With its closed collar, the difficulties to keep it in place are over!

US size 7 (4.5mm) 14” (35cm) circular needle.
Or size giving the gauge.
Others: markers, cable needle (optional).

DIMENSION
One size. Circumference 17” (42cm) and 15” (38cm) height.

STITCHES
1/1 LPT : Slip next stitch to cable needle and place at front of work, p1, then k1 tbl from cable needle.
1/1 RPT : Slip next stitch to cable needle and place at back of work, k1 tbl, then p1 from cable needle.

DIRECTIONS
Climbing Vine is a bandana knitted flat at first like a top-down triangular shawl. Each side is knitted in stockinette while the vine spreads along the central column of the bandana. When the shawl is long and wide enough, the knitting continues in the round and reverse stockinette to create a collar that you can flatten while blocking or keep as is so the natural gives you an extra thickness.
