Bandera Shawlette
Bandera Shawlette was designed for the 2024 Texas Wool Week event in beautiful Bandera, Texas. The showy lace border is worked first, then the short-row body; then a simple garter edging.
Finished Size: 19” depth, 66” wingspan. Modification directions included.
Yarn: The Sheepwalk Fiber Arts Studio East Meets West; Superwash Merino “with a hint of Silk, Bamboo, and Nylon”, 410 yards/125g. Sample used 123g/404 yards.
Needles: Size 5 US/3.75mm 24” circular needle, or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 18 stitches/24 rows per inch in blocked stockinette stitch. Gauge is not critical for this item but will affect yardage used and drape.
