Construction
The Barn Shawl is worked top-down in garter stitch. The shawl is a conventional triangle shape with 4 stitches increased on every right side row until the full stitch count at the bind-off.

Each of the two wings of the shawl are worked the same, with a simple lace motif repeated throughout the shawl. The only stitches you need to know are knit, yarn over for eyelets and knitting 2 or 3 stitches together.
