These ankle socks are worked from top down, with a traditional heel flap. The design uses 2 colours: a background shade and a foreground shade. The heel worked in a slipped stitch pattern creating extra reinforcement and cushioning to the parts of the sock that get the most wear. Short row shaping is used to turn the heel making it rounded and formed to the foot.

Sizes
M/L (appr. 6-8, 9-10)
Size M appr. 110-280yds (100/250 m), size L 145-350yds (130/320 m), depending on length of the leg and foot of socks.
For narrow feet, it is recommended to knit size M, for thicker ones, better to choose size L. Possible to adjust the length of the leg and foot of the socks by trying them on as you knit.
