For anyone wanting to learn simple two-color brioche, the Basic Brioche Headband is a wonderful place to start. It’s quick and warm, as well as a perfect practice piece before you dive into more complicated brioche techniques. Using scraps of two colors in a DK weight yarn, you can easily make one for everyone on your gift giving list, bust your stash, and gain this exciting knitting skill.

Brioche is a two-stitch repeat that is far simpler than it looks. By working one color at a time (and therefore working each round twice - once over the knits and once over the purls) you create striking reversible vertical stripes with an excellent squish factor.
