The DK version has finished chest sizes of 33 1/4 (35, 36 1/2, 38 3/4, 41, 42 1/2, 44 3/4, 47 3/4, 50 1/2, 53 1/2, 56 1/2, 61 3/4)’’ 84.5 (89, 92.5, 98.5, 104, 108, 113.5, 121.5, 128.5, 136, 143.5, 157) cm and uses 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8, 9, 10, 11) hanks of Eden Cottage Yarns Titus DK (or an equivalent amount of any DK weight yarn).
The aran version has finished chest sizes of 33 (34 3/4, 36 3/4, 38 1/2, 40, 42 3/4, 45 3/4, 47, 49, 52 3/4, 56, 61 3/4)’’ 84 (88.5, 93.5, 98, 101.5, 108.5, 116, 119.5, 124.5, 134, 142, 157) cm and uses 6 (7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 11, 12, 13) hanks of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter (or an equivalent amount of any aran weight yarn).
I recommend using sturdy yarns without too much drape for raglan sweaters, at any gauge. Please choose a size that’s 3-6’’ (7.5 - 15 cm) larger than your upper torso to be comfortable in a raglan sweater.
