Basic Garter Stitch Triangle Shawl
This basic garter stitch triangle, worked from the center top out, using odd balls and leftover yarn from two different color families.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Customizable to any size you want.
Shawl shown: Approx 60” wide and 28½“ deep at the center
YARN
Two piles of odd balls and leftover yarn in contrasting colors.
Shown in:
A – Grays
B – Citrine and golds
NEEDLES
Circular knitting needle (32” or longer) in size US 6 (4 mm)
or size to obtain gauge.
GAUGE
20 sts and 42 rows = 4” in Gtr st, blocked. Exact gauge is not crucial to the success of this project.
