This basic pullover pattern is written in 12 sizes and 3 gauges.
The sport version has finished chest sizes of 36 1/2 (39 1/2, 40 1/2, 43 1/2, 44 1/2, 47 1/2, 48 1/2, 51 1/2, 54, 56 1/2, 60 1/2, 64 1/2)’’ 92.5 (100.5, 103, 110.5, 113, 120.5, 123, 131, 137, 143.5, 153.5, 164) cm, and uses 9 (10, 10, 11, 12, 12, 13, 13, 14, 15, 16, 16) balls of Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy (or an equivalent amount of any sport-weight yarn).
The worsted version has finished chest sizes of 37 1/2 (39, 41, 42 1/2, 45 1/2, 47, 49, 50 1/2, 53 1/2, 57, 61 1/2, 65)’’ / 95.5 (99, 104, 108, 115.5, 119.5, 124.5, 128.5, 136, 145, 156, 165) cm and uses 6 (7, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9, 9, 10, 11, 11) hanks Maai and 4 (4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) hanks Silk Cloud held together throughout (or an equivalent amount of any worsted weight yarn).
The aran version has finished chest sizes of 37 (39, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49, 51, 53, 57, 61, 65)’’ 94 (99, 104, 109, 114.5, 119.5, 124.5, 129.5, 134.5, 145, 155, 165) cm chest and uses 8 (9, 10, 10, 11, 12, 12, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) balls of Lana Grossa Alta Moda Alpaca (or an equivalent amount of any aran weight yarn).
I recommend using yarns with a bit of drape for drop shoulder sweaters, at any gauge. Please choose a size that’s 4-8’’ (10 - 20.5 cm) larger than your upper torso to be comfortable in a drop shoulder sweater.
