The sample has been knit with Aaron weight yarn but you can use :
Worsed, DK, Sport, Fingering, Sock and even lace weight yarn for this Basket Simple Scarf.
However if you do change up the yarn weight, you will need to adjust the yardage and needle size too, as well as add more stitches to the cast on .
Each basket consist of 7 sts. So therefore you will add a repeat of 7 extra stitches per basket, to make it wider.
