Made in super bulky yarn, the Bass Mountain hat is a quick project that you can make in a couple of hours for a fast gift. It has simple lines highlighted with the use of a great contrasting yarn. This is a great pattern for using up a single skein of Super Bulky yarn along with scraps for the accent color.

For the samples, one skein of Super Bulky yarn was used (~60 yards). The accent color was added using either 50 yards of Aran weight held double or 25 yards of bulky or super bulky weight yarn.
