Hometown Shawls pattern #5 - in tribute to the communities that have shaped my family.

Release Discount: 50% off through July 25, 2026, no code required

Hometown Shawls bundle discount: buy all Hometown Shawls together for $20, no code required. Previous Ravelry purchases apply.

Designed for assigned pooling yarns with accent color sections that are at least 12” (30 cm) long and spaced at least 50” (125 cm) apart.

This shawl is worked starting from one point and increasing from there. It is easily adaptable to varying yardages, as you simply continue the pattern until you run out of yarn.

Baton Rouge is where I was born, raised and educated. It’s where football is king and “The Eye of the Tiger” is in everyone’s playlist.

Sample shown in 200g (860 yards) of French Market Sock

Skill level: Advanced Beginner - requires basic decreases and yarn overs and working stitches with extra loops
