Batten Slipper Sock
ABOUT
A cozy slipper sock designed to be easy to pull on and off with a stretchy ribbed heel. This flexibility allows you to comfortably wear these slippers over socks or on their own. The cuffs can be worn up or folded down. The name for this pattern comes from the expression batten down the hatches, which evokes memories of cold winter nights snuggled up inside with all the wool garments available. These slippers are also the perfect pair to take with you when visiting friends and family over the colder months when you don’t have your home slippers with you. This pattern is the original design, using DK weight yarn. Click Here for the Worsted Weight version, as seen in the last photo.
