Inspired by the jolly Christmas globes that dangle colour and reflected light, Bauble Hat will take your holiday knitting in some glorious and curious new directions. Playfully repurposed mending techniques create a crafty new approach to decorating your hand knits.

Bauble Hat is a basic beanie, worked bottom up. It features an Italian Tubular Cast-on and 1x1 ribbing.

Once the knitting is completed the hat is embellished with a bauble motif in duplicate stitch and small needle felted dots.

Adult 1 uses 45g/120m of the main colour yarn, additional materials used for the embellishments are 3x 5g of any DK-weight yarn for duplicate stitch embroidery and a small handful of roving for needle felting.
