Each year, I design a holiday hat. For 2015, I give you ornaments, baubles, and balls. Oh my! With a deep corrugated rib, the hat fits well on teen and adult heads. Because it is stranded using fingering-weight wool, it has double the yarn for added warmth without bulk. This is a festive season, and I used some traditional seasonal colors, but you can make your Baubles & Balls Slouchy Hat with any colors you desire. I like the idea of reds, purples and orange in place of the blues and silver featured in the cover hat. If you have left-over Palette from the year’s knitting, use it to knit colorful ornaments in your hat. And be on the look out for the sock pattern to match coming soon!
