“Baubles” was originally published in issue 89 of Simply Crochet magazine in Autumn 2019, and PDFs added here in 2020.

November 2022 edit

• I have added 2 stitches to the original 22-st repeat pattern, so it is now compatible with the standard 48-stitch repeat I use in many of my other mosaic crochet designs.
• I have also added a chain at each end of every row, to make the border easier, and included two new simple border options.
• The 2022 update also includes lots of helpful photos; videos for the first few rows, and both new borders, are now also available from my YouTube channel RosinaCrochets

For those that prefer the original version, as published in Simply Crochet, the original PDFs are still available, and can be found at the bottom of the list of files in your library.

If you have researched mosaic crochet on the internet, you may have noticed that there are in fact several different crochet techniques, all of which are frequently described as ‘mosaic crochet’.
Baubles uses the Inset mosaic crochet technique, where the yarn colour is changed every 2 rows, and the unused colour is carried up the side of the work.

If you are new to this technique, don’t worry, full written instructions are given, and I have also provided a chart.
It is up to you which you follow, but if you are new to this technique, I would recommend following the written pattern, at least for the first few rows.

PDF patterns are available for download (in both UK and US terms), and include full written instructions and a clear, easy to understand chart.

The eBook download includes various patterns, as they were originally published in issue 89 of Simply Crochet magazine (UK terms only).
It does NOT include full written instructions, nor does it include the 2022 update.
