This colorful and cozy bath mat is a great beginner project. The only stiches used are chain, slip stitch and single crochet. The project works up quickly using super bulky yarn and a large size P (11.5mm) crochet hook. The chain rows give this rug a nautical feel and a great texture. The chain loops are crocheted as you go and linked together when you get to the final rows. The yarn I use for this project is Bernat Blanket in Country Blue, Vintage White and Light Teal. The rug would also make a great kitchen rug.
