This modified triangle shawl is mostly smooth stockinette with a pretty star stitch transition band between each color. Extra increases on wrong-side rows make the triangle shape shallower and eliminate the pre-blocking diamond shape often seen with stockinette triangles, helping it to stay in place on your shoulders. Leftovers are used to make a lush fringe.

Skills required:
• Increasing
• Backwards-loop cast-on
• Slipping stitches over other stitches
• Making and attaching fringe

Yardage details:
• C1 (Sweatshirt) - approximately 140 yards for shawl; leftovers used for fringe
• C2 (Postcard) - approximately 180 yards for shawl; leftovers used for fringe
• C3 (Fossil) - approximately 230 yards for shawl; leftovers used for fringe
• C4 (Bale) - approximately 360 yards for shawl; leftovers used for fringe
• Fringe uses approximately 250 yards and can be done in any color or combination of colors.

1 skein of Brooklyn Tweed Loft will be sufficient for all colors except C4, which requires two skeins. 1 skein of madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light will be enough for each color.
