If you love spending time at the beach, pool, or lake, you need a Beachband! This functional knitted piece can be worn scrunched up as a headband or spread out to cover your wet or unkept hair. Knitted out of a rayon and linen blend or cotton and linen blend, you don’t have to worry about it being hot or the fact that you will get it wet in the pool. The Beachband is a great way to show off your knits in the summer while keeping you looking stylish! The button band allows for the perfect fit too!

Skills include knitting flat and simple increases and decreases.

Sizes: The adjustable buttonband makes this Beachband sure to fit all adults. The finished length is 20 inches, but it stretches for larger heads and buttons to fewer inches for smaller circumference.

Yarn: 1 ball of Berroco Lago (103 yards/skein); this is a worsted weight yarn OR 1 ball of Knit Picks Cotlin (123 yards/skein); this is a dk weight yarn

Gauge: 5 sts = 1 inch in St st

Needles/Notions: US 7 or size needed to get gauge
