A lacy, slouchy hat for summer, to keep the sun off your head without blocking the breeze.
Beachgrass is a simple knit, and choosing a hemp, cotton, or linen yarn will help you stay cool (in more ways than one). I used hemp, which is a great environmentally-friendly fibre that can take a lot of wear and washing.
Materials: Approximately 145 yards of DK-weight yarn. I made my green hat using less than one skein of Hemp for Knitting Allhemp6 in ‘Sprout’.
Sizing: My green hat is a slouchy fit on my 22” (medium-sized) head. Instructions are included for swatching a section of the brim to give you a good custom fit.
Pattern is for personal use only.
