This scarf features a well-known Shetland Lace design and is knitted lace (patterning on both right-side and wrong-side rows) rather than the more common lace knitting (patterning on right-side rows only). It is an excellent project for someone wanting to try knitted lace and the pattern contains both charted and written instructions.
