These are just little fun hats to knit around the winter holidays!! This is a fun way to experiment with beads! Five versions and a blank chart to experiment with. Beads create the colorwork in this project. Size 6, silver lined seed beads are used.

I have now decided to make this pattern also available as a stand-alone pattern. If you bought my Snowfall Hat, you already have this pattern.

The hats are knit bottom up. Beads in the ribbing are prestrung. The beads within the hat are added using a crochet hook -- the sizes given are 1.25 - 1.4 mm.

The yarn quantity needed is only about 28 yards, not including embellishments (a nice pom can take a lot of yarn!).
