Bean Stalk Scarf
Bean Stalk is a simple and fun way to add a little green to your wardrobe. The scarf is knit in 2 pieces and then sewn together at the center.
If you desire a provisional cast on may be done to avoid sewing. The scarf can be knit as long or short as desired.
You can close by weaving one end through the yarn overs of the other end or with a pin or button.
Any yarn can be used to knit this scarf, simply use the needles recommended for the yarn. This may alter the amount of yarn needed or the width.

Patons Shetland Chunky. 2 balls—
Content: 75% Acrylic, 25% Wool
Length: 148 yd / 136 m
US #10/6.0 mm straight needles

Abbreviations-
P– purl
K– knit
K2tog– knit 2 stitches together decreasing one stitch
Yo—yarn over
Ssk -Slip one stitch as if to knit, Slip another stitch as if to knit. Insert left-hand needle into front of these 2 stitches and knit them together)
Sssk -(Slip 1 as if to knit) 3 times; insert left-hand needle from the front to the back of all stitches at the same time and knit them together.
K3tog -Knit three stitches together as one
Sl2 k3tog p2sso -Slip 2 stitches, k3tog, pass 2 slipped stitches over k3tog
