All of my sleep mask crochet patterns are made in the same way – with DK weight yarn (you’ll need 3 colours – brown, black and white) and a 4mm crochet hook. I would recommend adding some fabric to the back of your mask to help block out the light. The ties are made by braiding three strands of yarn together but, you could crochet some ribbing or use elastic if you prefer.
