The Bearclaw Throw is a bold, unfussy blanket worked from the center out in a large rectangle. Strong texture, clean geometry, and a rhythmic stitch pattern combine to create a throw that feels substantial without being fussy.

Originally released as part of a Lion Brand collaboration, this pattern has been fully revised and reissued with a modern layout, clearer instructions, and a streamlined pattern flow—while preserving the original construction and stitch pattern.

Self-striping yarn does much of the visual work, making each throw unique while keeping the project engaging from start to finish. The result is a graphic, cozy blanket that works equally well as a statement piece or an everyday layer.
