These mittens is designed for a band that got together during a year at Norwegian Folkehøgskole called Beatebedårerne.

The mittens are male sized, but can easily be fitted for female hands if you go down in size of needles.

To get the correct colors, I strongly recommend that you use the suggested yarn. Especially imortant is the Aquamarine (Blue/green-ish).
