Beckett Mitts
It’s easy to see why fingerless mitts are so popular with modern knitters, keeping hands and wrists warm while leaving fingers free to knit! Fingerless mitts, wrist warmers, and other decorative arm accessories were also popular during the 1920 and 1930s, usually made with fine lace fabrics and coordinated with glamourous evening dresses. These mitts draw on this eveningwear connection with a multi-shaded bead motif at the wrist and a delicate picot hem. Worked in a fine 4-ply yarn, with a buttoned cuff at the wrist for a close fit, these mitts are designed to be both pretty and practical.
