We have long Winters in MN and there comes a point for me when I still need my winter accessories, but I am really ready to see blooming things. This collection of patterns is inspired by that time of year. The Bed of Violets patterns offer simple stranded colorwork in a gloriously soft alpaca yarn.

Finished cowl is 22 inches in circumference and 8 inches high.

This pattern is suitable for the knitter with experience reading a chart and stranded colorwork.

To knit the cowl you will need 2 skeins Natural Light Grey
and 1 skein each of Pistachio, Grape and Huckleberry.

To knit all three Bed of Violets patterns you will need
4 skeins Natural Light Grey and 1 skein each of Pistachio, Grape and Huckleberry
