his adorable and simple-to-knit bonnet includes a photo tutorial for attaching the little antennae. For the antennae, you’ll need one 12” black chenille stem (pipe cleaner), cut in half to make two 6” pieces. These can be found at any craft store. The base of the bonnet is knitted flat, and the little balls on top of the antennae are crocheted. You’ll need a glue gun to attach the antennae and balls. A flower accent is optional.
Yarn: Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Brush — approx. 50 yards in black and 10 yards in yellow
Gauge: 13 stitches and 18 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch
Needles: US 8 (5 mm) straight needles
Finished Measurements: Approximately 4.75” x 4.75”
