Inspired by the modernist and post-modernist architectural features of St John’s College, University of Oxford, the Beehive Scarf connects the craft of knitting with often-overlooked details in our surroundings. Knitters have the option to mix and match the provided stitch patterns throughout the scarf to create a unique accessory celebrating the connections between pattern and place! This design is the companion pattern to the Beehive Shawl.

Construction Notes
The scarf begins and ends with a garter stitch border.
The first and last pattern sections consist of beehive shapes with a stocking stitch centre.
The centre sections can be customised with a choice of multiple textured patterns inspired by St John’s College surroundings.
The main stitch patterns used in this scarf and knit and purl.
