Skill Level: Beginner

I created this pattern with the beginner in mind! Chunky yarn makes it easy to see the stitches, and works up quickly. Links to picture tutorials are also included making this a great crochet pattern for the beginner that is ready to work in the round.

This crochet pattern calls for ½ to ¾ of a ball of King Cole Drifter Chunky 100 g (3 ounces)/455 meters (170 yards) per ball, a 6.00 mm (J) crochet hook, a 5.50 mm (I) crochet hook, a fur pom-pom, a stitch marker, and a yarn needle. Instructions for 4 different sizes, that range from toddler to adult, are included.

This pattern calls for the following stitches and techniques: slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, adjustable ring, working in the round, and working in the back loops only.
