Crochet pattern for a Bejeweled Cowl that is like wearing a piece of jewelry! Festooned with beads, the cowl can be worked in one of three options: circle, mobius, or double twist. The beads are added to the yarn and then rounds of varying stitches are worked to add interest and beads pulled up randomly on the back side of the round. A fun way to use up your bead collection!
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: Intermediate
MATERIALS:
• 225 to 250 yds (206 to 229m) sport yarn or two different super fine or lace weight yarns
• Size G/6 (4.25mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Beading needle
• 200-300 beads with center hole large enough to accommodate yarn
• Paper plate
FINISHED SIZE: 5” (13cm) wide x 36” (91.5cm) around
GAUGE: 19 dc and 11 rows = 4” (10cm)
STITCHES USED: Chain stitch (ch). Slip stitch (sl st). Single crochet (sc). Half Double crochet (hdc). Double crochet (dc).
